For My Next Trick (Moose) is a five year old unraced thoroughbred gelding whose favorite things are jumping and cuddles! Moose is 16 hands and solidly built (he goes in a MW saddle). He has a quality flatwork foundation (he and his 13 year old rider qualified for pony club champs at their first dressage rally) and is jumping 2’3 courses.
On the flat, Moose is a soft, quiet ride who has his own motor without being strong or quick. Over fences he has a lovely rhythm that is easy to see a distance off of and will jump anything you point him at. He just had his first cross country school, and he didn't bat an eye at a single thing! Moose trailers well and is the same horse off property. He loves to be groomed and will happily take a nap with his head against your chest. He is an easy keeper who currently lives out in a mixed herd, though he also does well in a stall.
Moose is fairly uncomplicated under saddle, but he can sometimes be anxious on the ground, particularly with less confident handlers. He is best suited to someone who has experience working with young, sensitive horses.
