Talk about fancy to look at, fancy to ride, and a puppy dog in your pocket personality! Cyrus is an 8-year-old double registered (AQHA/APHA) 15.1 hand gelding that has been trained with reining maneuvers and trainer owned for the past four years. He has been shown in ranch shows, local level reining classes, and even hunter under saddle. He has been trail ridden, ridden in town, and at the stockyards. He is the definition of an all-around horse, the same every time you take him out, and suitable for any level of rider.
Cyrus is also the most like a dog of any horse I have ever had in my barn. He is smart, funny, ADORES people, and loves being in the mix. He is aware of the things around him, and what most horses would spook at, he wants to walk up to and check out. Think golden retriever personality in a horse!
Cyrus has a few tricks under his belt and will lay down for mounting and dismounting if requested or side pass to a mounting block if you prefer him to stand. He would also LOVE to engage in liberty work should his new owner have a desire to try that out.
Whether you want to show, trail ride, enjoy a nice broke horse at home, or just want a companion, you can’t go wrong with Cyrus and will absolutely love and adore him.
