Ona is a 15.2HH super sweet, 10yo, registered paint mare. Not a mareish bone in this girl's body! Only selling because she gets pushed around by my gelding and we need a horse with a slower engine to keep pace with my senior gelding on the trails.

Pros:
Ona is a great trail mount. She walks, trots and lopes with light cues both in the saddle and lunging. Loads nicely into a slant. Excellent ground manners. Rides out from the farm alone, even after sitting for months. Goes over and through anything I've pointed her at. ️️Stands great for bathing and farrier. Current on all cares.

Cons:
Ona has equine lordosis (swayback), but is perfectly fit for riding with the proper tack. She will come with a Reinsman swayback pad.

Ona can be a bit antsy when you first hop in the saddle but will calm down after a while. However, even after she relaxes into the ride, she is simply not your plodding type trail horse but likes to move along the trail. She would keep up well with gaited horses. For this reason she would not be suitable for kids or beginner riders.

She's low in the pecking order with our two geldings.

This mare has the kindest personality and really deserves a good home! She's a 1 in temperament on the ground but a 6-7 in saddle (not spooky, but a mover).
