Smoke is an 18 year old grade Tennessee Walking gelding. He stands 15.0 hands and is grey with a hind sock. He is a well-mannered trail horse that can be rode by anyone. He does have some energy so he needs someone that knows how to ride to be able to give him commands. He trailers well, easy to catch in the pasture, loves attention, has shod and dental appointments scheduled regularly, up to date on vaccinations. He's a great mountain horse with sure footing, goes through creeks, walks over logs, can go down sleep slopes. He is level headed and doesn't spook easily. When camping, he has been tied to a high/picket line in a field to feed and is familiar with electric fence. He is in the middle of the pecking order with 6 horses. We are downsizing and would like for him to have a good home where he will be used. We have had him for 7 years, bought him for our younger daughter, she was 6 years old at the time, and she rode him on trails and in the arena. He has never kicked, reared, or bucked with our kids. We have ponied him with other horses and he follows along great. He does have a tumor on his ear on the lower outside part and we had our veterinarian check it. He recommended just leaving it alone since its not doing anything. It doesn't seem to bother Smoke or interfere with the bridle when we ride him either.
