For those of you looking to do a little bit of everything on a quite mature 4 year-old quality gelding, here’s one. Drifter is the type you can lay off and then saddle up & ride off nicely months later. Drifter is 100% sound with no bad habits as I have owned him since he was just 5 months old. I have started him and trained him through my professional course. He does anything you want it in the arena including reining, sorting, cow boxing & in the ranch sorting he has competed in local shows. Outside the arena he’s a good trail or ranch horse. He ground ties, bathes, loads, shoes, pony’s others, can be ponied, walks over logs, through water, drags logs, is easy to catch, UTD on teeth floating, requires no maintenance, gets along with others in the pasture, does well on alfalfa or grass, can be rode in a bridal, snaffle or hackamore.
