Roo is the perfect package of super sweet and snuggly, with tons of talent and athleticism! She's the perfect horse for an ambitious kid or adult amateur looking to hit the ground running this competition season!

She has 3 good gaits, a spectacular jump, and the world's easiest lead changes!

For the first part of her life, Roo and her kid rocked around the jumper ring, successfully showing regularly at heights of 1.05 meters and above at venues including HITS Saugerties, where they took champion in their division.

Two years ago, she was purchased by an eventing trainer, who fell in love with her for her athletic jump. Roo easily made the switch to eventing, ending last season jumping clear around her first recognized training event. Roo is also solid in dressage, with lateral movements including half pass, counter canter, shoulder in, haunches in, turn on the haunches, etc. She has been shown successfully through 2nd level dressage.

Her easy auto changes have made her successful in the hunter ring as well, winning multiple Hunter derbies.
Whatever direction you want to take her, she is game!

Because of her athletic movement and forward jump, Roo is not recommended for a beginner. However, she is willing and generous, and has been used for lessons for some of the ambitious lesson kids to learn to ride flying changes or to get confidence over bigger fences with.

She is sound with no vices, no spook, and no limitations. If not sold right away, she will continue to show this season, and price will reflect that.
