Rider level: intermediate to advanced
Shade has been started in the direction of hunter, jumper, and dressage. He has walk, trot, canter, lateral movements, only simple lead changes right now, and jumping crosspole courses. He has free jumped up to 2'9" with scope left to go. Started his show career this spring with first and second place ribbons in the hunter ring. Shade has trailered off property multiple times and can go with or without others. He has lovely conformation and movement and sets himself into a frame by himself. Ground manners are great. He has a very sweet disposition and wants to please, not naughty like your standard pony at all, but still green so he will ask you questions. He is a little spooky and draws his confidence from his rider. He is best suited for an intermediate to advanced rider at this time.
