Elvis JP is a KWPN gelding, and an american bred son of the famous Jazz. Hero as we call him in the barn is the quintessential school master for an ambitious rider, or one who just wants to learn the ropes of the lower levels while feeling safe. He has a long history of being amateur ridden, and introducing many juniors and amateurs to 3rd level, FEI Juniors, and even several to PSG, in his old home in Florida.

Here in Ontario, he was purchased to do exactly the above; teach his amateur owner the ropes of upper level movements to help him bring the skills along to his younger rides. With easy changes, and a developing pirouette, he has been an excellent teacher at 4th level, and the pair are about ready to upgrade to PSG. Hero has been competitve at all levels. He has scored up to 74% at 3rd, 69% at 4th, and 67% at Prix St George. He is an honest 18h and suitable for larger riders, but has also been kid ridden. He is ready for Intermediate 1.

Hero is a push ride, and a big mover, and does best with a rider who can light him up, but is a super cool ride, as he will quiet his gaits and baby sit a greener (or older rider) who is not strong enough to manage his movement. He has extensive natural horsemanship training and has been ridden bridleless and also jumped. Hero passed a thorough vetting in August 2022, and xrays are available.
