Shea is a wonderful all around horse and a true black beauty! She stands at 15.1h with beautiful flowing mane and an incredibly sweet disposition that loves to be fussed over and has a heart of gold. She checks all the boxes:
✅ farrier work (barefoot right now)
✅ vet work (UTD on everything)
✅ trailer loading
✅ hauling out and tying at trailer
✅ patience in cross ties for grooming/bathing
✅ body and face clips
✅ easy keeper (currently out 24/7 in a herd - can be turned out with anyone - she loves having friends and is a very kind horse at the bottom of the order)
✅ fine with stall time
✅ great around dogs and other farm animals
✅ unicorn 🦄 - obviously
Shea has a fantastic work ethic. She was raised with extensive natural horsemanship ground- and desensitization work, is a fast learner and tries her heart out to please. She has just completed three month of professional training and remains in training till she finds her new person. She is soft in the bridle, learning about balance and collection, working on some laterals, does pole work, cavaletti and jumps small courses, has gone cross country schooling and is brave and willing to navigate any obstacle and she loves to trail ride!
Shea has been used in lessons and is a very tolerant horse that really looks to connect with her rider.
She loves having a job! She has no vices but likes a rider that has a plan. She matches her riders energy in every way. If you like forward she will go forward, if you want to doodle she will doodle, if you are soft she is soft, if you are stiff she is stiff, if you are timid she will start to look around and find something to be timid about as well - you get the gist - your energy is her energy!
Shea is the definition of a wonderful all around horse that gives zero mare behaviors no matter if she is in season or not, is extremely affectionate and just waiting to be someone’s best friend!
