Started by Ken McNabb (see video) and a guest trail horse on the Tillet Ranch in Montana for many years. Last year we brought Pio to Oregon for our guests to enjoy. If I were allowed just one word to describe this flashy dude it would be GENTLEMAN. He knows his job and respects the rules. Our farrier says he wishes all horses were as polite as Pio. Ride alone or with friends, doesn’t matter. When in a group, he will follow or take the lead. Pio is quite handy. I’ve used him to cut tree branches above my head and he hardly notices when they come crashing down.
