Kate is a gorgeous mare with a wonderful temperament looking for her perfect match! At only 13 yrs old and standing at 14.1h, Kate is a registered American quarter pony with fabulous gaits and a loveable temperament. Kate is a perfect mix of whoa and go, suitable for a beginner with trainer. She can be a bit lazy with a beginner if they don’t know how to use their seat and leg correctly. Kate has been used in a lesson program with advanced beginners and has been to local Hunter shows and is always in the ribbons. Kate goes well both English and Western and has experience on the trails but it's been a while. Kate is so versatile, you can take her in any direction (i.e. Western or Cowboy Dressage, Classical Dressage, ranch riding, hunter/jumper, etc.)!

Kate is a beautiful mover in all lateral work, simple changes and lovely walk trot and canter. Kate has been schooled over Cavaletti’s and taken over cross rails. She currently has front shoes, barefoot on the back and lives in a paddock but does well in community pasture too. Kate is an overall easy keeper: respectful in groundwork, good to bathe, loads in the trailer and great for the farrier. We never "hard tie" her as she does pull back once in a while, but no issues in the cross-ties. Kate is looking for her person to give her lots of love, snuggles and snacks. She was recently leased for six months and now is up for sale due to the owner no longer riding. (Rider in picture is 5’6 for reference.)
