Ringo is a 6 year old 16.2 hand Shire gelding. With his big, bold dapples & four white stocking, Ringo has a lot of presence- this big guy turns heads everywhere he goes! He has the typical drafty personality we all know & love: reliable, quiet & kind hearted.
There is not a thing in the world that could upset Ringo. Flappy tarps, outrageous trail obstacles, giant bouncy balls, Ringo has seen it all! He has logged hundreds of miles on the trails and seen every sort of farm equipment you can imagine. Ringo has been rode through town and in the arena, he’ll pack a rider wherever they point him. A solid, trustworthy young gelding!
Ringo is well broke with lots of buttons and a fancy handle. Neck reins, collects up, moves off of leg pressure & picks up all gaits. He knows his leads, side passes & stops on a dime. This handsome gelding has all the buttons and tools to get any job done.
Ringo is also broke to drive! He is easy to hook, fun to drive and traffic safe. We have drove him all over, he is a blast to cruise around town!
This gelding is an absolute gentleman for the farrier. Ringo loves to be groomed, he stands perfectly still to be bridled, saddled & mounted. He will not walk off or rush you to get on. He is very patient & happy to wait. Loads, ties and hauls like a dream. He even lays down on command! Really a nice horse to be around. NO funny business or bad habits.
