Bidding ends June 13th! horsezip.com - see link below for more pics and video https://www.horsezip.com/horse-auction-item/a-dream-dunn-in-lace-aka-ruby/ Are you seeking a true equine partner? If so, I’d like to introduce you to Ruby. Ruby is 14.2h, 7 years old and registered with the American Buckskin Registry Association, (A Dream Dunn in Lace) #23140. Ruby will meet you at the gate and leave her food to come and say hello. Being with humans is her favorite place to be. She is extremely smart and learns her lessons quickly and retains them. And in fact almost all of clips you will see in the attached video were “firsts” for Ruby. (all the obstacles, wading in the lake etc.) She is very sweet and willing. She is UTD on everything including farrier, shots, deworming and is ready to travel with a current Coggins. My goal is to represent Ruby honestly and be transparent in her attributes and limitations. There will be no surprises if you choose to take Ruby home with you. I agreed to take Ruby in on consignment for a very dear friend (no fee), to aid her in finding Ruby the best home. This has been a very difficult decision for my friend and I promised to do my best in communicating all her wishes and sharing everything about Ruby to interested buyers. My friend has owned Ruby for about 1 year. She was nicely broke by a young gal but has not had a lot of riding in the last year. Her experiences in the last year have been ground work, basic handling and bareback riding in the round pen and around her property….very low key. Ruby shines in the hands of someone that is firm, but kind. So we recommend a person with horse experience. Ruby is not afraid of much. She is bold, brave and confident. In the arena she is more whoa than go. But on the trails she is much more forward. She loads in the trailer and hauls great, great for the farrier, dentist and vet. We are happy to provide the vet’s phone number for more information. She has good feet, does well with dogs & chickens etc. She is respectful of electric fencing and gets along great in the herd. She stands quietly to mount and dismount, knows the 1 rein stop and the basic commands. She is healthy, sound and just a pleasure to be around. Ruby is only being sold because my friend is an older rider (73) and she had an experience with Ruby where she reared up and came down on top her. She was riding bareback with just a halter and a loose horse was running towards us at the time. Although the experience was most likely a fluke, her confidence has been shaken a bit. We would love for someone to buy her that has the desire to assist her in growing her skills and bonding with her….and giving her a wonderful life. A PPE can be arranged at the buyers expense. Feel free to text or call with any questions. I am happy to help! ~ Denise
