Honey Bear is a youth riders dream mule! To say he is kind and gentle is an understatement. This little mule loves his people and loves attention. He will stand all day to be groomed and fussed with. He is the first to be caught in the pasture. He will ride to the barn bareback in a halter too! Honey Bear is a seasoned trail mule, not spooky, very willing and a good traveler. As a follower he will carry any level of rider. He’s a bit lazy as a leader and needs a more confident kiddo to kick him forward occasionally, but never naughty. He crosses bridges, water and down timber and will rock climb with the big mules. He has been to town, ridden in traffic and crowds. His spook is a flinch and a look. No buck, no bolt, no rear. This is a mule that can sit for long periods of time and still be safe and steady. Excellent feet, goes barefoot and is excellent for the farrier. Honey Bear is stocky enough to carry a shorter, heavier rider, an adult or is suitable for a child, he is also an excellent pack mule. He has been ridden by my children ages 6-12 years old. He fits a regular QH bars saddle and rides in a crouper or britchen. He is clean legged, no scars or previous injuries, sound, healthy, UTD on everything and ready for his next family!
