More whoa than go! 10 year old grade palomino Appaloosa gelding. 15.3 hands. Stands tied, stands well for the farrier, currently has front shoes only, hauls great, bathes well, lunges. Very calm demeanor, wants to please. He has been in parades, on the beach, but mostly used for trail riding. He isn’t easily spooked by typical “spooky” objects, is a solid leader or follower on the trail, will also ride out alone. He is a very mellow, slow walker, just wants to take his time. He would NOT be good for any type of activity that requires speed, he doesn’t want to work that hard! He’s an excellent husband/guest horse. I haven’t worked him in an arena, only used him on the trails. He will defend his food in a herd. He’s a little sensitive about pulling halters/bridles on over his ears, but we’ve been working on that and he’s much better. You can touch his ears just fine. Can put a fly mask on without issue. Does best on timothy hay, manure gets a little too wet on alfalfa/orchard. Current on vet care and vaccines.
