15yr old quarter horse mare.
Elsa has been shown in 4-H and local shows since she was 5. Selling because I just don’t have time to show her anymore and has been sitting in the pasture for the last 2yrs.
Has been shown in Western, hunt seat, reigning, showmanship, trail etc.
Spur trained and moves off the leg very well.
Very responsive to the bit, you don’t need a heavy hand with her she responds very well to your body cues.
She has a lot of buttons and for this reason I think an intermediate rider would be best but she is laid back enough for a beginner.
Great ground manners.
No buck, bite, rear or kick.
Has been around cows, pigs and chickens the last few years.
Easy keeper, she only gets hay through the winter and stays fat.

She has been very attached to our pony the last few years but when I haul Elsa to a show she does excellent.

Hauls best in a slant load, she choked once in a straight load and since then tenses up in a straight load.

She hasn’t been worked with or rode regularly for 2 yrs but I can go get her out of the pasture and stick my 5 & 3 yr old on her and she does great with them.

Trail rode some a few years ago and did just fine.

She has a club foot in the front left so she needs shoes in the front when shown regularly.
