Raffa is truly a once-in-a-lifetime horse. Talented, smart, well-trained and such a joy to ride! He has three excellent, incredibly smooth and comfortable gaits and has shown successfully English/Jumping. Responds to voice commands and the rider's position, needing only the lightest of aids. Perfect for an intermediate rider who wants a fun, forward ride.

Says his owner, "Raffa is my heart horse, and this has been a very difficult decision for me. However, I am forced to admit that as he is in his prime and I am way past mine, he deserves someone who has more time and energy than I can give him." And his longtime trainer says, "Raffa is one of my favorite horses of all time. He's just so much fun!"

Raffa is very athletic and learns quickly. He has a great whoa yet plenty of go. He has a big personality -- always a barn favorite -- and will meet you at the gate with a welcoming nicker. He is an easy keeper and has always been barefoot. Raffa can be pushy on the ground and can be busy or opinionated about some horses next to him in the cross-ties.
