Mr. Bert Bar Drifter "Bert" is being proudly and sadly offered for your consideration. This is one we wish we could keep on our roster. Mr. Bert is a 2018 registered AQHA gelding who stands approximately 15 hands. This flashy line backed dun has been well started under saddle, lunges, loves to be bathed (and will drink from the hose all day), loads, has been hauled to clinics and schooling shows, has been ponied down trail, and is a puppy dog on the ground. He does well in a mixed herd and has lived out full time as well as stalled with no issue. Bert has been exposed to cattle and is catty and enthusiastic. He happily bosses them around on the ground and under saddle. He adores trail obstacles. He has been barefoot his entire life and has great feet. He does have a blemish on his right hind fetlock that occurred prior to our ownership that does not affect his soundness. Bert has been with us since he was 2 years old, and we do have a full medical history back to that point. PPE’s are welcomed at buyer’s expense. He is UTD on vaccines and dental and has been maintained by our chiropractor, bodyworker, and magnawave practitioner to keep him feeling his very best during training. Bert is a curious and intelligent guy and a true character who loves to be involved in everything around him. He does prefer a soft touch and will try his heart out and walk into fire for the person who holds his trust. He would do best with a sensitive experienced rider or amateur in a program as he is still green. He shows amazing potential for someone interested in team penning, reined cowhorse, or even ranch riding and he’s ready to be finished your way.
