Are you searching for a handsome new friend to go places with...? Then allow me to introduce you to Mr. Tye! Whether it's roaming the countryside bareback, taking a stroll through town, riding in parades, or just hanging out together, Tye might be just the guy you're looking for... I met Tye a year ago and we quickly became friends. Due to Tye's previous driving experience, relaxed demeanor, striking coloring, and gorgeous feathering, we were planning to start a carriage company together. Since then, my plans have changed, but Tye would still be extremely well suited for anyone who would like to give carriage rides or just drive and ride for fun. He loads easily, isn't afraid to walk on pavement or other surfaces, through water, over bridges, you name it! You can ride him with a flag, past cars, though the gas station, and then stop to visit with everyone along the way. We had a great time driving in our local Christmas parade. I know it sounds like Tye is pretty perfect, and he's close to it, but we've discovered a couple quirky flaws. We found out he has a hard time swimming! He sometimes stomps his back foot (but has no problem with the farrier), and might move his head some when being pet. I'd suggest either a physically strong beginner or an intermediate level horse person would be a great match. Here to answer any questions you may have and happy to set up introductions if you'd like to come meet Mr. Tye! As another important side note, my mom is driving a trailer to the East coast next week which would make transportation a whole lot easier if you live out that direction!
