Certain HotPotential is an 11 year old, 15.1 hand AQHA mare. She is a very seasoned show horse that has competed in Halter, Showmanship, Western and Hunt Seat Pleasure, Ranch horse Pleasure and Riding and Trail Obstacle. She is super kind, always easy to catch, loves attention and will stand quietly tied or in cross ties for banding/braiding or overall pampering sessions. She trailer loads herself and knows what the show scene is all about, never spooking in traffic, wind, rain or the banners hanging in the arenas. She is great for the farrier and just wants to be loved and appreciated for who she is and what she knows. I bought this horse in Oct. 2022 as a show horse for myself. When she got here I started suspecting she needed regumate... I ended up spaying her and it was the best decision ever. She is such a happy horse now. Due to this I missed much of last show season with her. We went to our first show of this season in May 2024 and she was an absolute rock star. She won the over all, open championship buckle and the 18 and over, high point trophy. I could not have been more proud of her. She has amazing transitions, flying changes, side passes, soft back up and that amazing ability to just find her place on the rail and go along quietly with no fuss and no need to pick at her. She is quiet in the bridle and super soft off all cues. She stalls well at the shows. I am only parting with her because I have a handful of dressage horses and a new hunter AND a mounted shooting horse and will be spreading myself too thin to continue showing western this season. Did I mention I am a trainer... I don't know about others but I tend to go a little over board in my desire to ride ALL disciplines. I do love this mare. She is fit and ready to go and will make someone very happy. Her ideal home would be showing and maybe some clinics with her person. She is the type you can just pull out of the pasture and go goof around in the arena doing all kinds of random things. She's just a game horse that wants to please her person.
