Are you ISO of a sweet western pleasure horse? Moxie is a 5-year-old Palomino mare. Located in eastern WA (Soap Lake). She is TALL 16 or 16.1 hh’s. Gorgeous. Friendly. I have owned here since she was 3.
She is level headed/calm, easy going, confident, bold and not easily rattled. She is not flighty or spooky. I think in a year or two, she will be the perfect kid’s horse because of her disposition.
She has been hauled to shows the last two summers for walk/trot/lope performance classes and then trotted and slow loped in games (barrels, poles, keyhole etc). I am legally blind and can’t go too fast, so this exposure was just for de-sensitization and training at a slow pace. She is fine in the arena with other horses running around. Has been rode out on the trail.
The vet did teeth as a 3,4 and 5 year-old. UTD on everything.
She has had 4 months professional training. She has a very good start on her but in no means is a finished horse. Hauls well and stands tied with-out fuss and even has gotten over our husky puppy running besides, behind and in front of her on the trail. She is not afraid of 4-wheeler or vehicles.
I am not a professional trainer but have been riding her these last 2 years. She stands perfect at the mounting block to get on too. I can side pass to open the gate etc.
Moxie is sired by Quincy Oklahoma and out of Cue MZ Parks, Unfortuenlty I have to sell her as grade as I do not have her papers. But nevertheless, you can see from her pedigree she has good breeding and is pleasure bred.
The reason I am offering her up is that I am building an indoor arena and need the money. Plus, she is lazy and walks too slow for me. She just needs to be someone’s pretty western pleasure horse.
