I am proud and a little sad to offer Casanova- Cass, for sale. Cass is a 3yo, 14.2hh grade QH gelding, he does have a known sire who is reg. And has Peppy san, Doc Bar, and Poco lines. His dam was a grade paint. He has been with me since March I think, he is green broke, going under saddle wtc, learning to move off leg pressure etc. Ride him in a halter or bridle, saddle or bareback. He is by no means a finished horse but has a solid start with no fear. He has come a long way in a short period of time. Up to date on everything. Is standing good to be trimmed, he has lovely upright hooves. Stands to be groomed, saddled etc. Loads in the trailer like it's nothing. Eager to go anywhere and see everything and everyone. He is one heck of a happy horse. He has a giant sense of humor and a personality larger then life. If you are looking for that plod along Sally he is not it. In fact if you do not have a sense of humor or you do not enjoy horses who are more like dogs then equines, I will not sell him to you. In short, he is an exceedingly fun horse to work with but not for a beginner or timid rider. This is not because he is difficult to ride, but rather that he is very smart and I believe will take advantage of someone who doesn't keep clear boundaries. He would be best for someone interested in doing trails or obstacles. I also have a lot of faith he will like cows, but I'm not exactly a cow person. He loves to work. Picks you up from the mounting block, open and close gates, ridden all over our property outside of the arenas but has not been on a trail ride. I have cracked a bull whip off him and trick roped with not the slightest issue. He also has an amazing affinity for liberty. His worst reaction is to squeal and toss his head if you ask him for somthing he doesn't agree with. Has never offered to buck bolt or rear. He was not good for shots when he came but I have religiously been working to desensitiz his neck since. Asking 4,000 to the best possible match. His price will increase with continued training.
