18 YO AQHA gelding, 16.2 hh, beautiful dark dappled bay, with an AQHA show record a mile long including: hunter under saddle, showmanship, hunt seat equitation, western horsemanship, and western pleasure.
This boy is sound and ready to work, show, or trail ride! He will happily course from cross rails to 2’6” with beginner riders and up. He can jump up to 3’ singles with an experienced rider. This horse is tolerant and kind with rider mistakes as well as possessing *very* smooth gaits. I would not mind if all my horses rode as easy as him! He is adult ammy and junior safe! He is great on trails, and is happy to poke around or go for a little hand gallop. He can be ridden either with a single rein bit or a Pelham with two reins/ converter.
He is by Gucci Only by Invitation Only and out of a Son of Sam mare. He requires annual/ bi-annual hock injections depending on how frequently and hard he is ridden. He is due for his hocks to be done this August. This sweet guy is up-to-date on teeth, Coggins, vaccines, and feet. He does have roars with no known history of the tie back surgery. Due to this, it is best for him to stay in consistent work and retain good fitness. It has not bothered him and he has been ridden at times for up to an hour (and much longer trail rides!) without issue. I think riders will get winded before he does so long as he properly maintained.😊
Thankful Invitation would excel going back to an AQHA show home, as a lesson horse/ teaching riders in a program, becoming a trail horse with fun buttons, or showing a rider of any level the ropes of jumping with an extremely safe mount! Do not let his age fool you, he is ready to go out and check some riding goals off someone’s list!

He was ridden with a little more pace for the jump video as he enjoys it and it helped show off his form! But, he is more than happy to take things slow and lope around.🐴
