Cricket is an 8 year old Reg APHA mare. She stands at 14.3h. She has a solid w/t/c and is not a finished games horse, but does know the patterns and has cruised through barrels at small local shows. Keyhole is her favorite. She has packed around beginners and kids at a walk/trot, and confident kids at a canter, but I do suggest an intermediate rider for consistent riding. Cricket has lots of try. She is eager to please, but sometimes can get confused and need some confident direction. When she is worked consistently this goes away and she is 10/10. She has spent many miles on the trails, done drill team boot camps, been hauled to many arenas, cruised through ranch reining patterns, and is a solid mount on the road. Buses, cars, and semi’s do not even phase her, though she does need some encouragement through water. She does roll backs, and can lope off from a walk if asked. She deserves a job, and someone that can use her whole potential. I think she would be a fantastic WAHSET or Jr rodeo horse. She has seen cows, had a rope swung off of her (though it’s been several years) and when in consistent work is quite an amazing horse. She’s not one that does well sitting for weeks on end, she wants to work and can get a little antsy if she hasn’t been worked in a while. She is UTD on teeth, feet, and vaccines. She will be due for her yearly exam in November. She is barefoot on an 8 week cycle, always has been and does great that way- though if going through lots of gravel could benefit from front shoes. She does not require maintenance, and is a very easy keeper. The type to get fat off air. Great for the farrier, and the vet. Loads, ties and bathes. I love this mare very much, and she is selling at not fault of her own, just needs a job. I am not in a rush to sell. A good home is an absolute must. I have hundreds of photos and videos available at request, I’ve owned her since she was a coming 3yr old. Located in Ferndale, Washington. PPE welcome at buyers expense. 8️⃣🤚👌👌 takes her home.
