This is Oakley May, she is the first horse I have owned and has been amazing at leveling me up in my riding. She is super patient with riders but is made for more of an intermediate/experienced rider. Although she is 18, she works like she is 6! She really has a big heart for jumping and gets so excited because she knows what she is doing. Oakley has taught me so much but after seeing how happy and excited she gets when she jumps I have decided to rehome her because I have no interest in jumping or English riding. I would love to get into barrel racing but she just isn’t the right horse for it. She is a lot of horse and definitely has more than whoa! She rides both English and Western but excels in English/Dressage. I have ridden her Bareback, English, and Western. When I ride her bareback with a bridle she really does great! She is a quick learner as well. Before I purchased her she was used as a lesson horse. She really has been the best first horse I could imagine and is very sweet. She also smiles when you give her treats! I am in no rush to sell her because I want to find a great home for her. She just got her feet done about 2 weeks ago (May 29) and I do have her feet done every 5-6 weeks. The vet is coming out this month on the 28th to update her fully on vaccines. I dewormed her as of May 1 so she is up to date on deworming. Other Info about Oakley: * She does not like trailers, I have put her in a trailer one time to move her from one barn to another and she was not a fan. * She can be Buddy Sour but hasn’t since I have owned her. * She doesn’t like being tacked up, but the worst she will do is throw her head around. * Best kept alone as she doesnt love other horses but will do fine if you are riding or handling her. * I have never taken her out on a trail for she is very aware of her surroundings if she is not in “work mode”.
