Exotic black mare available for your consideration. This true black beauty has a well hinged neck, excellent legs, and a strong body. She's mannered on the ground and has been well exposed to children, livestock, and the goings on of the world. In addition to hauling out to lessons, her owner has taken her riding at places like Point Reyes at the ocean, as well as out pushing cows.
Luna would be an excellent choice for a rider that enjoys a fancy, smooth, forward mare. She knows her basics in the arena and wants to move off the leg and be responsive. Her barrel takes up the leg well and she has a very soft feel to the hand. She would appreciate someone with a centered seat that can continue working on the finer cues with her as she learns how to travel "through" and over her back.
6/14 Luna did her first limited distance endurance ride. She self loaded in the trailer, camped like a champ tied to the trailer, led the group most of the way (she set the best pace of the group), crossed water, traveled through tight spaces in the forest, and experienced so many situations that you can't just recreate at home. She was excellent, forward, and bold!
This sweet girl is good out in the pasture or paddock. She is well mannered on the ground and has no vices. No pulling back or silly business. Current on 2024 dental, vaccinations, and hoof care. She is sound, healthy, and ready to go.
Luna would be an excellent choice for a rider interested in events like working equitation or western dressage. She has the speed for barrels and gymkana, however, she has not been patterned.
