“Ophelia fan Ravens Ridge” is a beautiful 5 year old 15.2hh Friesian Sporthorse, sired by full-papered KFPS Friesian stallion “Tesla of Sea Chanty Farm” (Alert x Tsjerk,) and out of APHA mare “ Magnums Queen Bee”. Ophelia was lightly started under saddle in 2023, had a year off to finish growing, and is currently finishing 60 days of professional training at ‘Odell Horse Training LLC’ under Jasmine Odell.
This mare is an absolute SWEETHEART, she loves attention and to be in your pocket all the time! Ophelia is currently barefoot and she clips, ties, bathes, and stands for the farrier perfectly. She is extremely athletic and a quick learner – she has W/T/C down along with learning leg yield, spins, side passing, and jumping. She has also been on multiple trail rides throughout the last year and LOVES to splash in water! Ophelia can go any direction you want to take her! She is ready for an introductory/training level test and will be schooling for level 1-2 until she is sold. Ophelia is energetic and responsive, with more go than whoa. She is still green and needs exposure to new things, so at this time she would do best with an intermediate + rider.
Ophelia is registered with Friesian Heritage Horse and Sporthorse International. She has clean X-Rays as of April 2023, she is also negative for Dwarfism and Hydrocephalus.
Ophelia is reluctantly offered due to unexpected life changes. She is priced in the low 🖐️ figures. Seller has a motivated timeline so all reasonable offers to good homes or professional trainers will be considered.
