Secret is a 16 year old Registered Appendix mare, standing at 15.1H. We bought secret as a step up game horse for our ten year old, however she has shown to rather enjoy the trails. Our daughter has an older pony for trails so another trail horse is not what we were looking for.

She stands for tacking, the farrier and vet. She does wear shoes on her front feet but farrier and vet say she has good feet, just sensitive in the front. I do give her hoof supplements with a little vitamin grain. She is UTD on all cares.

Secret loves to trail ride. She will ride out alone or in a group. Our daughter is 10 and secret takes good care of her out on the trails.

So the reason we are selling is because when my daughter tries to run games with her, she starts out good but when secret is done she backs up. It’s difficult for our daughter to get her to move forward. She only does this for games not for trails.

I would say secret is safe to haul kids around on the trails with an adult and an older more confident rider alone.
