Fresh Start Farms “BOB”

Bob is really an all around awesome guy! Bob is a coming 6 year old Belgian gelding. He has never been used as a stud no study tendencies! Bob is broke to ride and drive. We have rode him in ALL gaits, absolutely no buck bolt or rear out of this guy! We take him overnight camping, and trail riding. Loads well, leads well, kind of clumsy so watch your feet! Not a mean bone in this guys body. Very in your pocket type, who will always accept affection and treats when given the opportunity.

Bob drives the very best in a team! He works ok on his own, but is still young and is not a lead horse. He looks for confidence in a teammate! He is EASY to catch and harness. Works with mates geldings and studs. Has been on the horse power, sleds, sleighs, plows, and occasional logging. He had previously been used to pull hearses for a funeral home.

Bobs only vice is he’s watchy. If there is a bag, bucket, or anything else that wasn’t there before bet your buttuckus he’s gonna see it! Overall a very SAFE, SMART, and SANE horse. Not going to call him kid safe, but any confident beginner can ride and drive him!

Bob would make an excellent 4H prospect, low level show, or all around farm unicorn! Yes he could make a dang good workhorse, but he’s way too pretty to be behind a plow all day!

Bob is barefoot right now, he has great feet :) I will shoe him if someone wants me to. He stands fabulous for the farrier , if he’s still here by time we get back from Montana he will be consigned to the TOPEKA DRAFT SALE this fall.
