I purchases Rio from an auction in October 2023 and he was diagnosed with Navicular Syndrome in November 2023. Full clinical summary and x-ray of diagnosis and current maintenance practices will be available to serious buyers. After a lot of medical work, Rio is well on his way to having stabilized health and comfort despite his chronic condition. He would be suitable for an intermediate rider and/or a novice roper that understands his condition and balances his work load. He's a ranch horse and it shows in his mannerisms and skill set.

Rio can be cinchy, but has been honest. I'm looking for a horse that has more experience being around preschool aged children, as I have a family and have to balance their needs and mine. I would keep him despite the Navicular diagnosis if he was more suitable and experience around young children. Looking for the perfect next chapter for this fine fellow who has a lot of skills to offer to the right home that can continue to support his health.
