Maverick is a 5 year-old registered Quarter Horse. He was previously used as a ranch horse, but has also had some training with the Clinton Anderson training method. He has completed the fundamentals, intermediate, and some advanced groundwork. He has completed the fundamentals riding and is about halfway through the intermediate riding portion of the Clinton Anderson training program. Because of his training, he is very well-mannered on the ground (you can back him up, yield his forequarters, and lower his head off of your finger-tips). He has also been desensitized in a variety of ways. He has a lot of expression and personality. I have herded cattle on him recently.
