Scout is a kind, curious, confident young gelding looking for an adventure partner. Scout is willing to try anything, and goes anywhere you point him. He investigates obstacles, is careful where he places his feet, and has been attentive but unphased by encounters with wildlife and all manner of other trail users. He loves arena and barn life and is welcoming and friendly to all the other barn residents, including dogs, cats, goats, chickens, hog, neighbor cattle, and even the humans! Scout shows natural aptitude and enjoyment for jumping, obstacle challenges, and trail courses. He recently had the privilege of carrying an exuberant 10YO rider all around the arena at all three gaits with saddle and W/T bareback. He generously showed off all he knew, and stood stock still while they crawled all over, under, and around him. Scout is current on all hoof, teeth, health care and has a current Coggins and CVI. He has been maintained barefoot, has excellent manners during hoof handling and trimming, and goes great in hoof boots for protection while riding.
