Archer: 15.2hh 2017 grade gelding (Morgan/Saddlebred cross): Archer is a beautiful chestnut with chrome and a gorgeous grey-chestnut flaxen thick, wavy tail. This is a mannerly, kind, sweet gelding with a very willing attitude. While he is still a little green in the arena, he has never shown any naughty behavior and does not need prep such as lunging. He learns quickly, is started over fences and will WTC both ways. We started taking him on off-property trail rides, he walks on the trailer and loves to trail ride. He seems like he could also be used for competitive trail riding or endurance as well. He rides in a snaffle and is pretty straight-forward. He does have a big trot and so he is not for a rider who likes a lazier horse. He is not a wiggly ride, he does stay straight nicely. I can see him being a great all-arounder, pony club horse, even a lesson horse with some more mileage. He has a really nice canter, can collect easily, and shows a natural lead change. He wants to please and is very kind and not disagreeable about anything we've asked. He is easy to have around the barn and also in turn-out. Archer also drives and is suitable for combined driving as well as riding disciplines. Health details: UTD on dental, vaccines, deworming, farrier. Currently wears front shoes, can go barefoot. No vices. Loads, ships, ties, bathes, stands for mane pulled, good for vet & farrier. Not on maintenance. Archer has zero previous injuries and no blemishes. He has completely clean boring legs and correct conformation with correctly angled symmetrical feet.
