Additional videos: https://youtu.be/qoRPKfh_Apw I purchased this horse as a five year old to be my eventer, but then had ankle surgery, then shoulder surgery, then sold my house and arena and built a new one, and then had hand surgery. Result: this balanced, athletic, powerful gelding has been on the back burner forever and now I am approaching retirement. The only thing I have managed (which is actually good for OTTBs) is to haul him around for lots of trail rides in the Wind River Mountains and out in the desert. He loves it. He hauls, ties, and comes when you call him. He could be someone's trail horse or become an eventer. While I have ridden him English, he goes in a snaffle, so I imagine he would be just as fine Western as well. My farrier rode him bareback in a halter. He could be a perfect horse for a man, or the life love of a teenaged girl . . . just not for a beginner, because while he is never malicious, he can still have a green/playful moment or be spicy.
