“Arrow” is a very pretty 6 year old friesian cross mare registered with FHH.
She stands around 15.3 hh and is SOLID! Arrow knows a lot and has smooth,forward movement, she is ready to start being exposed to new places to build up her confidence. She’s very personable and smart, she enjoys any attention and also has a dog like personality, enjoying picking things up in her mouth. This one would be a liberty training dream!
She is also a very easy keeper requiring little to no grain and is barefoot with no issues.
Under saddle she can wtc, sidepass, spin, back up, and leg yield . She has not yet been trained in a specific discipline but I can see her excelling in either the western or English dressage rings. I would say she needs an experienced rider at this time because of her own inexperience, or a confident intermediate rider working with a trainer.
The only bad habit I have seen is she does paw in her stall and when tied if left alone. She also is not always consistent loading onto a trailer but that should easily be remedy with more trips.
Currently being used once a week for intermediate riding lessons and doing well.
