Thunder is such a fun boy to have around and turns heads everywhere he goes! He absolutely loves people and has a phenomenal personality. Thunder rides English and western and has a great handle and stunning gaits. He will happily just walk the trails but he also can stop on his butt like a little cow pony or take jumps like a warmblood. Thunder is safe both on the ground and under saddle (or bareback) with my toddler. He is traffic safe, not bothered by load noises, will ride with a group or by himself just the same, and is happy go lucky and always up for an adventure. He's confident and sure footed making him the ultimate trail companion in any terrain. He is an absolute statue for the farrier and has GREAT feet but we do keep him shod all the way around because we are so rocky and I want him always in pristine condition from his feet to his long flowing mane and tail. Thunder is a sucker for a bath and spa day. We keep him up in braids and bags which makes maintaining his luscious locks a breeze but when it’s time for a fresh set, he will ground tie and eat up the attention until you tell him you’re done. Thunder works great on the walker, lunges like a perfect gentleman, and is light and responsive both on the ground and under saddle. He is a very quiet and confident horse so you don’t ever have to worry about him fidgeting or not standing still no matter what is going on. He doesn’t care if other horses walk off and leave him and is much more a people horse than he is herd bound. Thunder has been ridden English and is a natural over jumps and would make a stellar foxhunting and/or dressage prospect. He has all the brains and movement to do just about anything someone desired plus has been exposed and has such a willing to learn and please mind. Thunder knows where his feet are and for a big thick guy, he can really pull off some fancy moves. This gentle dude has even been the STAR in a movie that is coming out later this year. They used drones, had gun battles, and multiple people riding him. He even was used to walk through the “dead” bodies and was trusted to not accidentally really unalive one of the actors! I don’t know what else you could really ask for in a horse and best friend. If I didn’t make a living selling horses, he would never leave!! However, now that he is a finished horse, he will be on the back burner to all the up and coming colts that need my attention more than he does. I will without a doubt own another turbo friesian in the future. The last couple years with him have been so fun and a different tune than training speed event horses. He is a breath of fresh air and has such a fun loving sweet disposition. I have more videos also. Feel free to call anytime! Thunder would fit a lot of different people but I want the best home possibly for him where he will be a personal horse and get all of the love and attention he deserves. If you are too far to come see him for yourself, we are more than ha
