It is handy, stays between your legs, and is easy to maneuver with a draped rein, rocking chair lope, ground-covering extended trot, and a natural headset. Gather your reins up; he is fun in the English saddle as well. Also, started in the team roping and breakaway. Chief is good in the box, can flat run, can really read a cow, rates, works off his hock, and a deep stop. “A site to be seen in and out of the arena”!
No matter how much time passes, we can pull Chief out with zero worries. He is simple and easy to ride, forgiving, and not bothered by anything.
