Dude is a 5yr old registered, blue roan gelding who stands 14.1h and is 92% foundation bred. We’ve owned him since he was a 2yr old. He is the first to meet you at feeding time and is super easy to catch. He can be an in your pocket horse and loves attention. He stands tied, is quiet while being bathed and groomed. He loads, leads, and saddles easy. He has no problem with a farrier. He has been used for trail riding and handles all terrains, woods, creeks & pastures. He’s been used to work cattle. He has rode in many parades, been wrapped with Christmas lights, wore overalls and gave no issue with the noise and lights of the vehicles in parades. He was trained using cutting training techniques, so he has a nice handle on him and moves out smooth. We have started him in the roping box on the heel side and have practiced breakaway roping on him with live cattle. He backs into the box, stands quiets and comes out strong. He can track cattle well. He moves off leg pressure and has a big stop to him. He stays broke when left off and gets along well with other horses in a pen or pasture. He’s been rode by beginners and experienced riders, he reads the rider and adjust to them. He's hasn't done anything wrong with anyone who has rode him. He would be a great breakaway, calf roping or heel horse prospect.
