This mare is quite an athletic gal and could excel in a number of different disciplines as she is quite a big mover for a small horse. She moves off of leg pressure and has a very soft handle on her. She’s actually a lot of horse for me as she does have a lot of buttons and needs a moderately experienced rider to really sit back and be a confident guide for her. She’s not dangerous, just sensitive. I am wanting to get into barrels, so that’s why I got her. I will most likely end up keeping her since I do enjoy her a lot! But 5 horses is a lot so I have her and my other gelding for sale since 4 is the ideal amount for my farm! Lol. But I’d let one of them go for the appropriate price. She is good at hauling, stands tied, bathes, picks up feet, trail rides, not Mare-ish. She is not a hot head at all, she does need pushed for speed but has speed to give. Would make an excellent woman’s mount or confident youth! I could see her as an all around 4h horse or with the right rider could even get up there in the pins as a barrel pony. My trainer thinks she would excel as a ranch pleasure horse as she is very laid back.
