10 year old QH / Draft Cross standing at 16h He has a big body to cary any size rider comfortably, is a dream to ride bareback and has a lazy puppy dog personality. He is what I would consider a push ride / more whoa than go and prefers to have a family and a leisurely life opposed to being a high paced lesson barn etc. He stalls it and pastures well. Mixed herds, and low key, quiet in a stall etc when in. Can be out full time or stalled. He doesn’t care. Under saddle he is a steady eddy for just about any rider but I would say he is not ideal for complete beginners/ un-confident beginners because he knows how to be lazy. But if you tell him what you want with a little bit of confidence he will melt beneath you and walk through fire for you. Stands in cross ties, stalls, stands for vets and farriers etc. He has been ridden English, western and done some schooling lessons and XC and been on and off property. He’s just not fast. He’s slow and drafty. With a nice rocking chair canter. He is steady horse both inside and outside of the arena, a cute mover and very willing. Again, just on the lazier side. He will canter off if asked, but he isn't ready to run away by any means. You stop riding, he stops going and stands and waits. He has been around cattle, dogs, cats, 4 wheelers, tractors and been ridden in and out. Even in the rain and didn't bat an eye. He really is not phased by much at all. He's perfectly happy to stand around and wait for you to get yourself collected and isnt phased by outdoor annoyances at all. I feel confident he could make a solid trail mount, fox hunter etc. He's the type you buy today, ride tomorrow. All he needs is a job and an owner. We have an indoor and outdoor for viewings as well as trails. No holds ***Due to needing the field space we are currently offering a $10,000 special on him if gone by the 15th. ***** otherwise price goes back up to 12,500 after the 15th.
