Taxi is our main man when ensuring our friends and family are looked after when they come over ready to go for a ride! You’re not going to find any other geldings like this one who have been there, done that but are also the perfect age and drop dead gorgeous!
Taxi has carried many people both in the performance horse world as well as day to day riding! Reflecting his name, “Taxi” will ensure a safe ride no matter who you are! Taxi was used extensively as a turn back horse at the NCHA cutting horse shows and home use. Some of the duties that come with being a turn back horse include, being dependable all day, standing tied for long hours, must be cowy (a term described as a horse with good cow sense), must be broke, must be flashy and overall must have a quiet demeanor. With all the lights, camera and action happening at the NCHA shows, a horse must take it all in while still being able to do their job and Taxi accomplished that every time.
Taxi was also trained by Boyd Rice ($3.8 million LTE in the Western Industry) as a 3/4 year old and shown in the cutting and the cow horse disciplines. His size, athleticism and good mind is what made him stand out from the others!
Taxi is stamped with one of the most famous brands there is! The Beech Fork Ranch prides themselves in the horses that come from their ranch! Proven bloodlines and sturdy conformation, each horse that comes from the Beech Fork ranch is bred to be a winner.

Taxi has also been roped off of! With more time Taxi would make an exceptional head horse for someone looking to take him in that direction. We have roped the sled on him multiple times as well as live cattle. Although he is not finished in the roping, Taxi shows incredible talent and ability to be a great asset to someone’s team or string of ranch horses ready for a days worth of work!
Taxi is great with kids looking for a step up horse. Lots of woah, rides off of leg pressure, soft in the bridle, gorgeous turn arounds and so much more! He would be a great addition to any family that is looking for a dependable gelding that knows the ropes and is ready to love on a little boy or girl wanting their step up horse!
