Gus is a handsome red roan QH gelding. He is seven years old, standing right at 15.3 hands & built like a TANK.
As willing as they come, this horse has said “yes” to everything we've pointed him at - trail rides, riding down the road, drives through town, and the list goes on! He is a unicorn, Gus is kind and gentle enough to step right into a lesson program.
Gus is SAFE, the kind of horse that will take care of his rider. He is the ultimate package with his sweet and loving disposition along with the flashy moves. Gus is BROKE, he rides around like a broke horse should and has all the buttons you could ever need. He neck reins, stays light in the bridle & floats through his gaits. Lopes nice circles, smooth stop, moves off leg pressure & is easy easy easy to get along with! If your kids can hold the reins- they can ride Gus.
We have been beyond impressed with how relaxed he has been around all the jam-packed action at our facility. Gus rides any way you want (bareback, western or English).
Anyone can safely & easily handle Gus. No kick, bite or funny business. Excellent to saddle, bridle and mount. Good with his feet and an absolute gentleman for the farrier. Up to date on vaccines and in great health.
He loads well, stands tied, can be turned out alone or in a herd, does well in a stall, and has excellent ground manners. Respectful, polite and willing to please, Gus is ready for his forever home and a person to call his own!
