Pistol is 4 years old AQHA gelding. “PLAYBOYSPEPTOPISTOL” is all cowbred with some of the greats like Freckles Playboy and the legendary, Peptoboonsmal, on his papers! He is bred to be sensational and has far exceeded our expectations. Pistol stands 15 HH, he is STOUT! With his blaze face & bold zebra striped legs- Pistol turns heads everywhere we take him.
Pistol is easy & uncomplicated to ride with a beautiful handle. He is light in the bridle, nice stop with a floaty trot & smooth lope. Picks up his leads, lopes nice circles, moves off your leg, side passes & collects up. Slides to a stop and has a nice turn around, all the fancy moves + buttons you could ever need.
Pistol is nice and quiet on the trails, nothing phases this level headed gelding. We have taken him camping overnight. He has been used at the stockyards penning back cattle and shows a lot of promise as a ranch or rope horse. We believe that with his demeanor and training, Pistol would make a phenomenal ranch versatility or show horse. Nothing phases this young gelding, he takes flapping tarps, balls, water, traffic with ease.
He even does tricks! Pistol lays down and sits on command. A nod to his trainability at just four years old!
Pistol is so nice to be around. He is a dream to shoe. Stands patiently to be clipped, bathed, groomed and saddled. He load, ties and hauls like a pro! Pistol is easy to catch & loves attention.
Pistol is sound, sane and up to date on all routine maintenances (teeth, feet, deworming, vaccines). He is ready to move into your barn & be your next partner!
