Meet Logan. This breathtaking 2021 Azteca gelding is ready to be your best friend and future performance horse. Logan has great confirmation with straight legs and beautiful movement, plus that buttermilk Buckskin coat we all die for, complete with frosted mane! Logan is sired by the gorgeous and extremely talented, Hermoso SI PRE, currently showing 3rd level Dressage and is out of Charming Shine Olena, a reining bred Quarter Horse. Logan was bred for performance; just watch him move and you’ll see his potential. Currently standing at 15H, we expect Logan to mature to 15.1-15.2H and see him excelling in a variety of disciplines including Working Equitation, Ranch Riding, Versatility or Western/Classical Dressage. He enjoys jumping and will voluntarily jump our bridges and other obstacles when turned loose to play. He is quite cowy and shows off some really cool moves when playing our dog, so he would probably really enjoy sorting too! Always professionally handled, Logan has wonderful ground manners and is ready to grow with his new person. He halters, leads, ties, bathes and sprays, loves to be groomed, is great for the farrier and vet, takes tube wormers easily, and loads in the trailer like a dream. Logan has been exposed to all sorts of novel things like bouncy balls, tarps, leaf blowers, flags, and bubble guns just to name a few, and he confidently crosses every obstacle we throw at him. He has more woah than go and had been saddled, bridled, fully sacked out, ground driven extensively, ponied around, and taught to stop and look at whatever might be spooking him. He is in full time training with a handful of rides under his belt at the time of this posting and training will continue until sold. He is careful with his rider, ensuring they are balanced before moving out, but does so calmly once he is sure you are safe up there. Logan grew up on a ranch with all sorts of livestock including a water buffalo, pigs, peacocks, donkeys, alpacas, goats, and sheep. Logan is super friendly, curious, playful, and extremely sweet. He loves the love. His mane and tail are very thick and his mane would be much longer except his pasture mate chewed half of it off last fall and we had to cut it; it’s grown 4” in 8 months! Pictures do not do this guy justice. Up to date with deworming, vaccinations, teeth and trims. Registration may be possible with the AQHR and ABRA; buyer to confirm if interested. Pre-purchase exams welcomed at buyers expense. Sellers can help arrange transportation, again at buyers expense. Proudly shown by De Frates Horsemanship.
