Valentino, is a registered 6 year old Andalusian, breed for jumping and dressage.
On the ground Valentino is a sweet boy. He loves to be brushed. He loves to be getting all the attention that he possibly can be. He is the first one to meet you up at the gate. Out in the field Valentino goes out with mares and is on the lower side of the herd, Valentino is right next to stallions as well, he dose NOT fight with them over the fence or anything like that, he will stand there next to them, and doesn’t make not one bad move. He’s got a super kind eye not a mean bone in his body. Valentino does not mind big trucks, tractors, quads he doesn’t jump or even flinch when they are near him or passing him. And Valentino will stand for grooming, tacking, bathing, vetting, farrier, and mounting, picking up all four feet, he will stand tied. He does wear four shoes currently, (regular)
Under saddle, Valentino will ride english and western, He will walk, trot, and canter in both directions, and picks up his leads. He does know what woah means. He does have breaks, he will neck rein some. He has been on the trails and in a obstacle course and he was amazing with it, he’s walked down the side of the road cars trucks passing him and he didn’t seem to care or be phased by it. Go off property for a ride he’s good, he’s been to a bunch of different places and he didn’t care what was going on around him, he only care about his business and what he was there to do, Valentino will also go swimming and seems to really enjoy. Under the english side of things, Valentino, will walk, canter, he has free jumped, about 3 feet. On a small course he will jumps a 2’6 with tons of room to go higher, and him wanting to go higher!
I have given a few lesson on Valentino, and he was good, My two year old step daughter, is able to walk Valentino around on her own, with Valentino giving her plenty of room!
I think Valentino would be best suited in a show barn, as that he loves a job and loves to jumps. i would think he also would be best for more of experience rider.
