Catarina a FHANA registered mare is approved for breeding. She has been shown in halter in several feathered shows and won a Championship in halter against a stallion and 5 other friesians. She is a wonderful mover and has a presence in the show ring. She is broke to ride and also drive. She has never had a foal as we never tried to breed her before but she does come into heat and cycles normally. We have not ridden her in some years as we no longer have a saddle that fits her and we don’t have a working cart to drive her but she drives very well. She is smart and picks up new tasks easily. Her sire is a well known dressage stallion and her mother also was ridden in dressage shows and drives.
She is in a pasture with other horses and gets a long well with mares and geldings. She has never had any health issues.
We have decided to cut back on our horse herd so that is why we decided to put her up for sale or lease. We have had her since she was 6 months old. We rarely ride and she would do well for someone that wants to ride or drive her as she is sociable and likes people. She is usually the first horse to come up when she sees me at the fence. She wouldn’t be for a beginner rider as hasn't been under saddle for some years so she will need someone that has ridden. Please call me if interested and or have questions as I am not often on email.
