Simon is stout and sweet as can be. He meets you at the gate, easy to halter, leads around the property on his own and looks for adventure. He has gotten handled since birth and it shows. He knows how to walk and trot in hand as well as back, move his hinds, and move his front end. He’s seen cows, cars, trucks, skid steers, tractors, lawn mowers, golf carts and nothing bothers him. He has been ponied behind my carting horse and he did really well. We go for in hand walks and jogs all around the farm and dirt roads 1-2 times a week for about 15-20 minutes. He stands for bathing, farrier, tied alone, grooming and clipping. He has rode in the trailer a few times with his mom and was unfazed. He just does whatever! I have lightly started R+ training for fun and he’s so willing to learn anything. He knows touch/object and walk and trot next to you, stop, back, turn both ways all without a halter/lead. He walks over logs, bridges, tarps. He is started in showmanship basics as well as in hand trail obstacles. He's super easy to handle. Currently on high quality free choice grass/alfalfa mix 2nd cutting 2024 and eats a small meal at lunchtime of alfalfa pellets, Omneity Premix, ground flax and renew gold. He is fully weaned and ready to head to his new home! Current on worming, farrier every 6 weeks, and vaccinations as of 09/27/2024.

He’s my personal first foal birthed here at my farm, it will be very sad to see to part with him, but he is looking for his perfect🏡. I have put time and love into this boy, as I will every foal, to make sure he has the absolute best start for a bright future 🌟
