Update! Brandon showed for the first time in western dressage. He won both his tests, Basic level Test 1 and Level 1 Test 1 with scores in the low to mid 70s earning him the NDPC Small Horse Championship Highpoint award this past Saturday (7/20) under USEF/USDF S judge Dorie Vlatten-Schmitz. It was his first time at this venue. Solid mind, good gaits and an 8 for Harmony in both tests! Brandon has just turned 7. He leads, loads, ties, lunges, long lines, hauls, goes out on trails alone or in company and has competed in classical dressage. He is trained through second level classical dressage. He will shine in western dressage. His demeanor is bold, inquisitive but can definitely take a joke without a grudge. He is safe to mount and ride with little spook. He tolerates machinery, farm equipment, dogs, cars and a lot more without the bat of an eye. Brandon is your typical in your pocket Morgan. He gets along with other horses but will live his friends to interact with humans.
