About Babe:
Babe has the papers, personality, AND ability! She is a FINISHED sorting & cutting horse, she is easy and smooth through the herd, follows through in her movement, stays calm, and is solid in the gate. She reads a cow very well, and at the same time stays in tune with her rider and what you’re asking of her.
Babe rides around like a dream. She trots/lopes around collected and correct on a loose rein, she’ll slide stop, turns around. Take her to a cutting, team sorting, penning, trail ride her, I even think she would excel at a western riding show! Babe would make a great barrel horse, jr rodeo, she is the definition of all around.
We have ridden Babe through drive thrus, in traffic, on the trail, in lessons with 20+ horses around and nothing fazes her. I think you could throw an English saddle on this mare and she’d ride around like she’d done it a million times.
Babe is sound, has great feet, legs, etc. She is an easy keeper and sound. She’ll win you money AND make some top of the line babies!
- Great on the ground
- Leads, stands tied (farrier, baths, etc), ground ties
- Loads & backs out of ANY trailer
- Works a flag, cows, cuts, & sorts
- FANCY broke! Moves off your leg, backs nicely, side passes, great stop, transitions etc.
- Solid as can be in a show setting or at home
- An easy ride, could be fantastic for an intermediate cutter/sorter but an advanced/pro rider can take this mare to ANY level
- bombproof on the trail, we’ve ridden her through underpasses and by a zoo!
- UTD on shoes, teeth, worming, and chiropractic
