Meet Amp, Grade, 16.1 hand, 17 year old Appendix QH gelding. Someone is going to get so lucky with this horse! Do not let his age fool you, he is still young at heart! I got Amp back last November (2023) after selling him in 2019. Long story short, the owners did not take care of him well and I got him back with soundness issues. I have been working hard to get him back up to weight and sound to ride. On 7/29/24, I took him to Tahoma Vet to have him evaluated for navicular. That day, an abscess blew out the bulb of his heel. I still had the vet do X-rays (can provide to serious buyers). A small bone spur was found on the navicular bone, however, the vet did not feel that that was the cause of lameness, it was the abscess. At this point in time, he is now sound. Amp, ties, loads, bathes and clips. Amp has a nice woah on him as well as walk, trot, lope and easily picks up both leads. He yields off your leg very nicely. He is an awesome trail horse and LOVES water. He highlines and packs gear. He is NOT being sold as a barrel horse but I do think he could do some game shows here and there with the right person. I would classify him as a higher tempered horse but nothing that is unmanageable. He is not a beginners horse, I think he would make a great step up horse for a kid or just a great all around horse for an adult. Amp needs a home that will love him till his last days. He deserves to be used and unfortunately he is not exactly what we need at the moment. Asking 2500 negotiable to the right home. His safety and happiness is my main priority. Please message me with questions if you are serious. I will not answer questions that are listed above. Located Roy Wa
